If you're anything like me, you wake up well before you have to in order to have a very peaceful morning before work (I wake up at 6, and don't have to be to work until 9, even though it's a 10 minute commute). I reserve that time to get some coffee ready, read some news, and listen to some things that will ease me into the day.
That said, I pretty much hate waking up to an alarm. I have an alarm on my iPhone that fades in, and before it does, it plays an ambient playlist through the night. I also have an app on the phone that allows me to play a mix of 4 different sounds (I choose heavy rain, frogs croaking, crickets, and thunder) and set them at different volumes and pitches. That in conjunction with a noise machine that produces EVEN MORE rain, and I'm set for a really peaceful evening. Who would want to wake up with all that going on? Right.
This mix eases the pain and tension of having to get up in the morning and go through the daily grind. It is also well balanced for a restful night, so feel free to use it as prescribed by your intuition. This mix along with your morning coffee should work out any issues or kinks that you mind incurred during the night. Support the artists.
Turn on, tune in, sleep (or awake, softly, of course)...
